Facebook akan memperkenalkan Facebook Shops & Instagram Shops

Baru-baru ini pengasas Facebook telah mengumumkan mengenai Facebook Shops dan Instagram Shops.

Mungkin bagi sesetengah bisnes yang menggunakan FB dah biasa guna fungsi catalog dalam FB page.

Kini pihak FB ingin membantu lebih ramai business owner untuk menghadapi cabaran dalam masa pandemic Covid19 dengan memudahkan untuk memiliki kedai online masing-masing, menerusi platform FB dan IG sahaja.

Antara fungsi yang akan diperkenalkan adalah:

  • integrasi antara Facebook, Instagram & WhatsApp
  • gerbang bayaran (payment gateway) – samada Libra atau Paypal
  • Live shopping – ala GoShop
  • program loyalty
  • integrasi dengan 3rd party seperti WooCommerce, Shopify etc.

Saya pun ada beberapa pendapat berkenaan perkara ini.

1. Secara berperingkat

Kesemua fungsi ini akan diperkenalkan secara berperingkat-peringkat. Bermula dengan pasaran di Amerika Syarikat terlebih dahulu sebelum diperkenalkan di Malaysia. Boleh makan masa berbulan sebelum kita dapat guna.

Contoh fungsi Instagram Shopping, hanya akaun IG yang tertentu saja dapat guna. Akaun IG baru nak up kalau tak link dengan FB Business Manager pun tak dapat.

2. Adakah akan kacau market E-commerce website?

Seperti mana ramai peniaga yang menjual menggunakan platform marketplace seperti Lazada dan Shopee selama ini, market e-commerce masih relevan dan demand makin meningkat apabila orang tak boleh keluar rumah sesuka hati sepanjang PKP.

Website sendiri mempunyai lebih banyak fleksibiliti dalam menjual produk. Kalau guna platform seperti FB/IG Shops ini mungkin terhad dari segi template atau info yang boleh dimasukkan.

3. Option pembayaran

Majoriti rakyat Malaysia kini semakin celik IT. Tapi masih ramai yang perlu membuat bayaran secara offline / CDM / COD dimana proses upload resit/screenshot. Kalau fungsi FPX dengan bank tempatan disediakan sekali adalah lebih baik.

4. Yuran transaksi

Tiada yang percuma di dunia ini. Paling tidak, FB pasti akan mengenakan caj transaksi sekitar 2-3% jika pelanggan checkout dengan platform mereka.

5. Hanya salah satu saluran untuk pemasaran

Don’t put all eggs in one basket. Itulah perumpamaannya. Jangan harap kepada platform satu ni saja. Jika berlaku server down, maka anda tak boleh buat sale langsung.

6. Persaingan

Tak semestinya anda seorang saja ada FB Shops yang canggih. Di sini akan berlaku persaingan. Maka disitu anda perlu menggunakan dan membayar untuk FB Ads supaya anda mampu tarik trafik ke FB Shops anda.

Sistem sebegini sangat memudahkan pengguna khususnya yang tak biasa dengan e-commerce. Fungsi yang paling menarik ialah dengan senarai produk dan database pelanggan. Ini sangat penting untuk digunakan dalam pemasaran yang kos efektif.

1. Yezza

Yezza telah dilancarkan pada 31 Mac 2020 oleh Arba Travel dengan fokus untuk memudahkan pesanan melalui WhatsApp. Sistem E-commerce beserta produk dan payment gateway melalui BillPlz juga boleh setting dengan mudah.

Mempunyai pelbagai integrasi dengan sistem dan platform popular seperti Woocommerce, Shopify, EasyParcel dan sebagainya.

Terdapat pelan dengan subsidi 70% dari kerajaan Malaysia.

Mempunyai pelan yang mampu milik serendah RM37 sebulan untuk langganan setahun.

2. Kiah.Store

Kiah.Store ini merujuk kepada nama glamer Mak Cik Kiah yang popular sejak bantuan prihatin diumumkan oleh PM. Sistem pengkalan data dan borang Whatsapp ini juga mempunyai fungsi untuk senarai produk, kategori dan invois.

Sistem ini boleh gunakan secara percuma. Terdapat juga integrasi dengan sistem gerbang pembayaran seperti Toyyibpay

3. Orderla.my

Aplikasi ini dibangunkan oleh iReka Soft, sebuah syarikat tempatan berpusat di Cyberjaya.

Memfokuskan kepada tempahan menggunakan Whatsapp. Mempunyai 2 jenis pelan.

Pelan berbayar membolehkan bayaran dibuat dengan sistem gerbang pembayaran seperti Billplz, ToyyibPay, SenangPay, Stripe & Bizappay. Pelan yang mampu milik hanya RM30 sebulan (pada waktu artikel ini ditulis)

4. Maynuu

Nama pun Maynuu yang bunyi seperti menu. Direka khas untuk pemilik restoran. Anda boleh masukkan menu, gambar dan harga produk.

Selepas anda memilih produk, proses checkout akan diteruskan ke dalam WhatsApp.

5. EasyStore

EasyStore mula memperkenalkan fungsi tempahan melalui Whatsapp/LINE ini pada 10 April 2020. EasyStore sendiri merupakan sistem e-commerce yang lengkap daripada Exabytes.

Maka dengan penambahan fungsi ini, ia akan membantu untuk meningkatkan jualan kepada pengguna yang tak biasa dengan sistem e-commerce.

EasyStore datang dengan pelbagai pakej. Untuk menggunakan fungsi WhatsApp order form ini, anda perlu melanggan pakej Standard pada harga RM 199 sebulan atau RM 1,671.60 setahun

6. OnWhats.App

Ini merupakan sistem yang dibangunkan oleh syarikat luar negara. Ianya juga mempunyai fungsi yang hampir sama dengan contoh di atas.

Harga bermula dari $1 sebulan. Terdapat juga fungsi Whitelabel untuk syarikat yang ingin menjual servis ini tanpa perlu membangunkan sistem yang canggih.


WhatsApp Link Shortener dengan Tracking

Seterusnya ialah sistem untuk meringkaskan link untuk buka app WhatsApp daripada website atau iklan. Anda boleh sahaja dapatkan link tersebut terus dari app WhatsApp.

Tetapi jika anda inginkan lebih function seperti tracking Facebook Pixel tracking atau Google Ads conversion tracking, anda boleh gunakan software berikut.

1. Wasap.my

Sistem ini dibangunkan oleh Saifuddin Iiyas sejak 2018 dan telah digunakan secara meluas oleh pengguna di Malaysia.

Antara kelebihannya ialah anda boleh bina sendiri link WhatsApp tanpa perlu mendaftar akaun.

Sistem ini dibangunkan oleh team FAMES. Antara kelebihan sistem KlikSini ialah mereka ada fungsi rotator links. Sistem ini akan sangat membantu jika anda ada ramai sales team.

Akaun percuma terhad kepada 5 link dan 1 tracking pixel. Anda boleh melanggan untuk upgrade pakej pada harga RM 30 sebulan.

FAQs

Can I work remotely?

On certain projects/campaigns, you can work remotely. As long as you have a good internet connection and professional working attitude.

What are the working hours?

Usually, its Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm. However, sometimes we have special events on weekends.

If you do websites, sometimes maintenance is required to be conducted at midnight when there is low traffic to avoid interruption.

We are a result-oriented company. As long as you manage to meet the deadline, you are good to go!

Why WordPress?

Any decent CMS today has to be able to utilize themes and plug-ins, the whole question is how much the CMS is flexible beyond that, and how many plug-ins can interfere in the work of the site (in a good way, when it is really necessary).

By the way, in case you somehow haven’t seen these numbers already: WordPress is installed on 34% websites in the World AND has a 60% Content Management System (CMS) market share.

Equal WordPress if possible, modify the behavior of the site, perhaps, does not exist. There is no need to edit the CMS sources, any behavior of WordPress can be changed with the help of hooks. This is not always convenient, and somewhere CMS is quite a hindrance, but it is nothing compared to the speed of deployment of the project.

For example, with the help of the Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) plugin. BTW, Pods is an open-source free alternative to ACF, BUT I personally just go with the standard, already built-in Custom Fields 🙂 

Whatever solution you use, with custom fields you can create interfaces in the admin for content managers in a few clicks. ACF is an example when the benefit of the plugin is equal to the benefit of the CMS itself.

Editor’s note: it should be noted that after Gutenberg is included in the WordPress core, the position of ACF superiority for creating interfaces may falter.

Do not forget that WordPress has a powerful REST API (by the way, even WooCommerce can communicate via API). This opens up the possibility of adding virtually any technology (read – features). You can even put the WP Open Graph plugin, and make quite complex selections with a single GraphQL query.

WordPress is a modern, event-oriented framework, and it was released long ago and has the biggest community of developers adding new plugins and themes every day (both free and premium). 

Yes, in some cases WordPress is still lagging behind custom development from scratch, but hey, the timeline and budget requirements differ big time. More on that below.

It is slow

Funny enough, that’s my favorite one. Check this out:

Argument: WordPress VIP powers such global publishers as New York Post and TIME; chances are in good hands they can power your project as well 🙂

Skeptics: alright, that’s media and I want to do an online store. I am sure WordPress + Woocommerce will die on 500 SKUs and I need much more!

Argument: see the crash test by Premmerce – guys tried to break the setup adding tens of thousands of products and it worked just fine.

Skeptics: alright, that’s an online store, and I want to create a startup!

Argument: There are plugins to create Job Boards, Educational Platforms with courses and whatnot. In good hands, it will shine and save you a ton of time and money.

SEO problems

Previously, it was believed that sites on WP are not particularly friendly to search engines, but WordPress was originally built as a blogging platform and most of the developers’ attention has always been paid to SEO. 

A lot of plugins such as Yoast SEO easily solve the task of promoting sites on the search. 

If you have not achieved a certain success in promoting the site, it is likely that you just did something wrong or did not know how to do it right. SEO is not a simple thing and beginners in it are not easy.

Security problems

That’s what almost all negative WordPress reviewers usually mention. Most likely they have never worked with WordPress, but simply copy articles and each other.

Funny enough we are building a Reviews section with a single plugin too 🙂

This myth came after a couple of students hacked into the site using the standard link /wp-admin and admin:admin login bundle. Change the link to login to the admin panel from the standard one to the unique one or put complex passwords and logins, also do make a limit on the number of attempts to log in.

As our practice shows, WP is quite a secure system and 1-2 plugins completely close the security issue of your site. 

WordFence is one of these plugins, offering a full range of protection.

Work only with proven plug-ins from proven sources and with reviews. As a rule, it is through dubious plugins that the hacking occurs.

Alternatives

Is WordPress the answer to every brief? 

I think, nowadays, it’s a matter of taste as WordPress is versatile enough to do virtually anything. At GRIN tech we use Tilda & custom coding (PHP & Python) as well.
